Nekopara was... a game, if you can call it that. I have no idea why it really trended for a while, but I guess it did...?
Of course, nobody in the team took the game seriously. On the channel, it started off as a bit of an anime-themed free-for-all that primarily hosted unfittingly intense mashups, but we discussed the topic further from there... Ultimately, we decided that it would be funny to alternate between those mashups and comfy, slightly jazzy takes on actual slice of life anime music.

This was the latter, of course. I've always liked this song from the Lucky Star soundtrack, and it just kind of... came to me as something I should try playing. I was playing from memory, but it was a surprisingly good take, so I decided to keep it!

Incidentally, I also wanted to arrange something from Super Sonico, because one of our teammates was often a bit vocal about the franchise, but I couldn't quite get the tone of the arrangement right... if your weeb phase is anything similar to mine, though, you'll probably recognize most of the non-hype stuff in the playlist.
