I hurried to finish this arrangement in time for Moi (beat_shobon)'s birthday... I ended up being a day late in the end, though.
I really thought something like this would fit Azusa's image! I had to edit her vocals so that it'd fit the swing rhythm of my arrangement, but it ended up fitting this like a glove after that.

Still, I cut a lot of corners to make this in time (and failed, even then), but I still really like how it turned out for the most part. The live drum (...loops) help to add a more acoustic sound to it, which is probably why people have been fooled to believe this was live... and generally, most of the parts compliment each other surprisingly well, I think, especially in that improvised intro.

Between that, the actually pretty interesting chord changes here and there, the drum solo that masks the key change really smoothly and the ending... I don't know, I'm a lot happier with this than I should be, maybe.

I just hope Moi feels the same.
